Our Core Values

Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV) You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.   Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Our Mission Statement

Love God, Love People, and Preach Jesus.

Our Vision Statement

We strive to build, become, and be a city within a city reaching our city with the life changing message of Jesus Christ one life at a time.

We are committed to accomplishing our mission and vision by:

  • Reaching lost people – Luke 15, 19:10
  • Bringing wanderers home – Ezekiel 34
  • Making and sending disciples – Matthew 28:18-20

Our Core Values

Praying church in St. Petersburg, FloridaIt is all about Jesus, it has always been about Jesus, and it will always be about Jesus.

We are blessed to be a blessing.  God has blessed us with a certain amount of time, talent, and treasure and He expects us to use it to love Him and love others.

We believe in God’s Law of Attraction:  Jesus said, “If I be lifted up I’ll draw all men unto me.”

Every gathering at COAH will include our three pillars:

  • Prayer – We value the power of agreement in prayer.  Our Prayer Team is available for body ministry every Sunday.  Audacious faith requires audacious action.
  • Worship – We value the power of music to break down barriers and speak directly to the soul as we worship and encounter a living and powerful God.
  • The Word of God – We value the Bible as the infallible Word of God and we don’t look at it as a book of rules but rather a book of promises given to us by God.

God is good and He expects us to be good.

God is our Benefactor.  People are not resources —  they are people.  We care more about who you are then what you have or what you can do for us.

We don’t do good for the sake of good, we do good to the glory of God.  Everything we do is to the glory of God whether it is offering meals to the homeless, helping pregnant teenage girls, reaching out to the hurting and broken-hearted, serving the people of our city, — everything in word and in deed is done to the glory of God.

We can’t just say we are about the city, we must be in the city.  We believe in community involvement and partnering with the city’s initiative to promote unity, hope, and peace.

God wants to use your story for His glory.

Every member is a missionary sent to the culture God has placed them in.
